Refund and Return Policy — Mushroom Matters

Revision: 2026-08-25

1. Scope and status

1.1. This Policy governs cancellation, withdrawal, return, exchange and refund for Goods purchased from the Seller through mushroomatters.com or an Official chat. It forms part of the Public Offer. Mandatory consumer rights under the law of the Republic of Armenia prevail over any conflicting provision.

2. Withdrawal from a distance contract

2.1. The Buyer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving an unopened bottle whose protective seal remains intact. A clear notice sent before the period expires is sufficient. The opened-bottle exception in Section 3 and all mandatory rights for non-conforming Goods apply.

2.2. Before the Goods are handed over, the Buyer may also ask the Seller to cancel an Order request or a Confirmed Order. If payment has already been made, the refund rules in Section 6 apply.

2.3. If the Seller did not provide the legally required information about the withdrawal right before the contract was concluded, the statutory withdrawal period may be extended by up to 12 months. If that information is supplied during the extension, the Buyer may withdraw within 14 days after receiving it.

3. Statutory exceptions

3.1. Each bottle has a protective seal. After the Buyer breaks that seal, the bottle is not accepted for a no-reason return where it is unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons. The Seller cannot place an opened consumable bottle back into sale.

3.2. The opened-bottle exception concerns only withdrawal without a reason. It does not exclude claims for Goods that were already defective, damaged, incomplete, wrongly delivered or expired when supplied. An unopened bottle remains subject to Section 2 unless another statutory exception applies.

4. How to notify the Seller and return the Goods

4.1. Send the withdrawal or return notice to mushroomatters@gmail.com, Telegram @mushroomatters, or another Official chat used for the Order. State the Order number if known, the Goods, your name and a contact for the reply, and clearly say that you are withdrawing from the contract or making a quality claim. No reason is required for a withdrawal under Section 2.

4.2. Unless the Seller offers to collect the Goods, the Buyer sends or hands them to the return destination agreed with the Seller no later than 14 days after notifying the Seller of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if the Goods are sent before it expires.

5. Return costs and condition of the Goods

5.1. For a no-reason withdrawal, the Buyer bears only the direct return cost and only where the Buyer was informed of that cost before the contract was concluded. The Seller bears return costs for defective, damaged, incomplete, wrongly delivered or expired Goods.

5.2. For an unopened return, the bottle, protective seal, packaging, labels and consumer properties must be preserved. Breaking the protective seal ends the no-reason return right in the health or hygiene circumstances described in Section 3. This rule does not affect a valid non-conformity claim.

6. Refund timing and method

6.1. The Seller refunds all payments due under mandatory law no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. The refund is made by the original payment method unless the Buyer expressly agrees otherwise and incurs no additional fee as a result.

6.2. The Seller may withhold the refund until the returned Goods are received or the Buyer supplies evidence that they have been sent, whichever occurs first, where such withholding is permitted by law.

7. Defective or non-conforming Goods

7.1. If the Goods are defective, damaged in transit, incomplete, delivered with a broken seal, wrongly delivered or expired, contact the Seller promptly. The Seller first offers an equivalent replacement. If the Buyer declines it, a timely replacement is unavailable, or mandatory law gives the Buyer another remedy, the Seller provides the applicable refund or other statutory remedy. A photo can speed up review but is not a condition for exercising mandatory rights.

8. Suggested withdrawal notice

8.1. “I notify you that I withdraw from the distance contract for the following Goods: [Goods]. Order number: [number]. Ordered/received on: [date]. Buyer: [name]. Reply contact: [phone or email]. Date: [date].”
